Dear Potential Bowler,

I want personally thank you for your interest in learning more about the Vonnie Holliday Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon.  This event will take place on Friday, April 1 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the AMF Columbia Lanes (1733 Bush River Road) in Columbia, South Carolina.

I am excited about returning to South Carolina to host this event, which will raise money to start the Vonnie Holliday Leadership Academy through the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands in my hometown of Camden, South Carolina.  Camden is a small town outside of Columbia, South Carolina. Currently, there are no programs for the children in that area. In fact, this academy would be the first Boys and Girls Club programming in the city of Camden!

This is why raising money for the leadership opportunity is so important to me.  I hope to raise $20,000 to begin the program in Camden.  The goal is to continue raising money for the academy and to eventually expand the program throughout South Carolina and the United States through the Boys and Girls Clubs. The Vonnie Holliday Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon will give bowlers in and around the Columbia area an opportunity to bowl as individuals; as teams; and with celebrities. This is why I need your support.
